The idea of Altered Nation Designs started back in 2006. The dream was to create unique
upcycled merchandise for awesome eco conscious people and to unite an "Altered Nation" through altered artistry.

About Susan:

Susan Tosches is the creator of Altered Nation Designs. She was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and currently resides in fabulous Las Vegas. She has studied and worked in the arts industry for many years and has an Associate Degree in Fashion Design. Working with industry leaders in arhitecture, fashion design, avant garde costuming & entertainment- Susan has a wide variety of experience behind her designs. Her passion is designing fun merchandise using recycled, vintage, boho & retro materials. She strives to craft items that are both sustainable and fun. She is inspired by the beach, rain, mountains, clouds, music, skateboarding, hippies, fabrics, old school video games/pin ball machines, diy-ers, activists, coffee shops, alternative arts, yoga, thrifting, charities, vintage & retro goodies and music festivals. Susan creates: clothing, hair accessories, monsters & other stuffed animals, fashion sketches, mixed media artwork, pillows, purses & wardrobe styling for photo shoots and more.

About Marcy:

Marcy Nelson-Macgregor is an Artist for Altered Nation Designs. She has a passion for revisioning ordinary recycled items into usable art. Marcy enjoys designing accessories, recycle monsters, bags, house wears, and more! Her other passion is hair and make-up and she's been in the biz for 9yrs. Shag Me Salon is her second home. Marcy loves recreating and finding new and wonderful looks for clients. She have an eye for unique fun creations with a dash of the dark-side!
